Fort Vredeburg

Vredeburg located on the south side of Jalan Malioboro Yogyakarta bersebarangan with the State Palace in the Great House. The fort was built in colonial times Belandan year 1765 and it serves as a fortress to protect the governor of the Dutch East Indies survive living in the Governorate Building (now called the Great House).
